Richard Merfert is one of the dedicated team members and veterans that founded Gunderpants.

Richard Merfert began his employment in special operations, starting his career with experience in the 75th Ranger Regiment. There, he focused on the execution of critical military operations, including targeted raids and complex aerial missions. Richard is now working in executive protection and instructing. His transition into a Lead Instructor role in Executive Protection and Personal Security allowed him to leverage this experience, leading training in key areas such as firearms, driving techniques, counter-surveillance, and close-quarters battle (CQB) tactics. His work emphasizes not just tactical but also technical expertise, equipping individuals with the knowledge to navigate and manage security challenges effectively.
